About Benzoic Acid
Benzoic Acid (C₆H₅COOH) is the simplest aromatic carboxylic acid. We supply both food-grade (E210) and technical-grade variants. Food-grade benzoic acid is used as a preservative in acidic foods and beverages. Technical grade is an intermediate for the production of sodium benzoate, benzyl benzoate, benzoyl chloride, and phenol. It also functions as a plasticiser and curing agent in alkyd resin formulations.
