Multi-Industry
Sodium Ligno Sulphonate
Versatile lignin-based dispersant for concrete, drilling, and feed
About Sodium Ligno Sulphonate
Sodium Ligno Sulphonate (SLS) is a water-soluble anionic polymer derived from lignosulphonic acid during the sulphite wood pulp process. As a natural dispersant and plasticiser, it reduces water demand in concrete mixes, improves fluidity of ceramic glazes, and acts as a binder in animal feed pellets. It is also used as a dust suppressant on unpaved roads and as a drilling fluid additive.
Key Applications
- Concrete water-reducing admixtures
- Oil well drilling fluid additive
- Animal feed pellet binder
- Dust suppression on roads
- Ceramic and refractory dispersant
